Cristin Milioti's portrayal of Sofia Falcone, aka The Hangman, is portrayed as a psychotic serial killer, but it doesn't exactly evoke terror or instability. She shows off her erratic side in Episode 2 when she scares a mother by donning a terrifying mask. But Milioti's performance isn't consistent enough to make her character come to life. Her expression of concern and wide eyes seem forced, as though they are trying to convey "delirium" and "instability." Sofia's character depth is now limited because all that is seen about her is her fervent desire to identify her brother's killer and her strong love for him.
